Introduction

The conservation project of the "Plaster Bust of Yamamoto Teijiro", created by celerated artist Huang Tushui's was made possible by Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, Ministry of Culture, R.O.C. and National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. It is currently a collection from Sado city, Japan, the official entrusted RCCCR to perform conservation treatment and mold reproduction of this object by protective and safe techniques.

Within 6 months, RCCCR developed new techniques and materials for the conservation treatments and made a reproduction of the vulnerable cultural relic, especially a new mold-making technique that will not damage the original item, and safely reproduce a plaster bust from original work of art.
