The Department of Fine Arts of National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) was founded in 1947 and has nurturing many outstanding graduates which are well-known artists and teachers nowadays. The Collection of NTNU Department of Fine Arts from these graduates left is abundant and more than 3,000 artworks until now. The condition of NTNU Collection is not very well, therefore “The Conservation and Preservation Project of the Collections from the Department of Fine Arts, NTNU” has been starting and collection care. In 2011 the Research Center for Conservation of Cultural Relics was officially opened to undertake NTNU Collection’s Conservation.

In conjunction with the 70th anniversary of NTNU, the Exhibition of Memories: Highlights of Masterpieces_ Restoration and Conservation is scheduled to take place in 2016. The Exhibition publication cover the detailed conservation process and non-destructive analysis of NTNU Collection which is to be gathered the information of Artist’s creation.
