This book won the first prize in the book category of the 15th Taiwan Golden Print Awards, and it is a special book of lacquerware aimed at traditional techniques and materials. Rarely focuses on the scientific analysis of using nondestructive test instruments, such as XRF (X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer) and FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) to let readers understand this traditional skill with a long history in simple terms. It edited by two themes of traditional lacquerware and Kawarinuri skill to present to readers' appreciation and taste of an old traditional craftsman spirit that is on the verge of being lost.
